We spent Christmas in Sitka this year. All the Morks (and former Morks = me) try to get together on alternate years in Sitka. This arrangement works out well. This was our first Mork Christmas in four years, since I spent Christmas two years ago at Providence Hospital with a tiny Jimmy trying for an early escape. I was grateful to be able to travel this Christmas, and we enjoyed our time with family. The below pics were taken by my brother Erik, with his new digital SLR. After this trip we’re now in the market for a new camera (we knew we shouldn’t have let the kiddo use it, but he was being so quiet and good!) We’re debating SLR versus a new point and shoot, and figuring that we’ll probably go with the point and shoot. We’ve got a lot of research to do…

Walking with Grammy. We appreciated the 30 degree temperatures.

In their stockings the guys all received remote-controlled helicopters. They were a big hit, and many hours were spent learning to fly (and crash).

Pregnant Janeen

29 Weeks and Counting. So glad that Erik (or was it Monica?) snapped this pic, as I haven’t yet taken any “belly” pics for this pregnancy. I love this pic, thanks!

One Mork tradition is to drive around Christmas Eve looking at Christmas lights, and then go to Mom’s school (Keet Gooshi Heen Elementary) for gym time. We skipped the Christmas light viewing this year (the Explorer can’t fit the whole family, and there weren’t any rental vans available), but gym time was a hit. It was so rewarding to see Jimmy running around like a maniac, having a blast. I love thinking about what it will be like next time we’re all together for Christmas, with 2 year old and a 4 year old running around having fun!

One of the best $5 ever spent at a garage sale. I am so lucky to have these two amazing guys in my life!
